the world is not perfect... in fact, it is a rather cruel and heartless place.
i always feel the need to protect my younger sister.
she told me a friend of hers was in a coma.
i've met this friend before and spoke with her a few times. very beautiful, sweet person, kind smile.
sadly, she passed away and for some reason this is really bothering me.
i don't know if its because of the time of year... God, its almost been five years now... or if its because i feel the need to keep my sister from the harsh realities of the world, even though she's about to turn 22... or if it was because what was going to happen was inevitable and all you can do is pray (if you even pray at all) and hope for the best.
i honestly don't know.
