"Oh. My. God."

Dawn couldn't stop staring at herself in the mirror. The previous fifteen minutes had been spent in realization that she was, in fact, a foot taller. Oh. Yeah. And she was a freaking guy.

She didn't even care that she could now stand up to pee, since she was so busy trying to figure out how this could have happened. Okay, she cared a little bit, because that part had been pretty cool, once she figured out the aiming thing, but she hadn't been working on any spells, nor had anyone else she knew.

The lack of screams and yells from the rest of the dorm indicated that this might have just happened to her, which was frigging terrific, really. No, really. She looooooooved being the resident freakazoid for reasons that didn't involve her classwork and choice of snack foods.

Dawn sighed and ran her hand through much shorter hair and eyed it skeptically. "It better grow back, is all I'm saying."

Then she realized something. "Oh, crap." She had a quiz today in her Greek class, which meant her new plan of hiding until it was over and she had her boobs back--which had better happen, universe--wouldn't work. Which meant she needed clothes to wear. Hers were too small and way too girly.

One of the shirts she'd stolen borrowed from Sam would probably fit, mostly, but she couldn't just wander around in a shirt and underwear without getting arrested (it had happened last week to a guy in her Psych class, so she knew this for a fact), so she needed pants.

Which mean she was going to have to suck it up. She hated sucking it up.

With another sigh, she picked up the phone to call Kenny. Maybe this would get him over his crush? Darn it. Voicemail. "Um, hi. This is Dawn Summers. No, really. Something's, er, happened. Could I borrow a pair of pants? You know the room. Thanks, bye."

She hung up and went back to staring.

i'm a guy, berkeley
