Room 328, Sunday Afternoon and Later

Jun 15, 2008 17:52

Oooh, hey. Volcano eruption. Noooot good. Since this didn't seem to be anything more apocalypse-related than usual, Dawn was taking pictures of the volcano through the window instead of researching.

Next, she sat down to write a couple of letters. Luke would probably understand, but what on Earth could she say to Buffy?

Buffy,

There's a very slight possibility that a volcano will have erupted and killed me and all of Fandom before you get this. It's not apocalypsey. Think more natural. No, there's nothing you can kill, and I'm sorry for that.

Um, I'll call if it doesn't blow up?

Anyway, I love you, even if it didn't always seem like I did. Take care. No jumping off of anything.

Love,
Me

Hey you,

I'm not sure if this'll get there before the island gets covered in volcanic ash and molten lava, but just in case, I wanted to say goodbye. Yes, again. Shut up.

I wish you were here to distract and distract me and poke and hit with pillows, but I guess that's one of the things that goes with your job. Which, in case I never said, I'm very, very proud of you for doing. I wish I could be there to help. Okay, maybe more today than usual, but that's just impending death talking and I'll get over it one way or another. Probably.

Anyway, the island's moved a couple of times since you've gone, and there was a whole underwear theft thing that I meant to tell you about (somehow mine ended up in the library, which probably isn't surprising), and the TA thing's kind of embarrassing, which is probably more of a teacher thing than anything else.

Not that it seems that important now.

If we don't die, I have awesome pictures to show you. If we do, thanks for being the best friend ever.

Love,
Dawn
