What a wonderful birthday!!
I really had a great birthday! It was nice seeing my granparents from Long Island that came up on Friday. Saturday we went to Old Forge and walked around the shops there... and it was a really nice day to just be out. Then we went over to my other grandparents' house.... and so I had all four grandparents, both my uncles on my dad's saide (the one I hardly ever see, so that was great!), and my parents of course all together to celebrate with. My grandmother made my some of my favorite foods... she made lasagna and a carrot cake. They were out of this world, as her cooking always is! Then my grandparents (mom's side) left around noon today to go back to Long Island, and I spent the day not doing homework, bumming on the couch and watching the Austin Powers movies. Then my dad came back from running a marathon in Albany and we had Chinese food for dinner (always good!). Got some really awesome gifts from my parents. I got a super cool mp3 player that I've wanted for a really long time now. But I have to say that that the best part of my birthday was getting phone calls and e-mails and livejournal/facebook birthday wishes from people. Many thanks to all who were kind enough to think of me today! (And I'm not gonna lie... the highlight of my day was getting a phone call from the one person I wanted it the most from). So I got no homework done this weekend... I'll be scrambling tomorrow, but it was worth it. And how exciting that on Wednesday I get to go for my consult with the tattoo guy! WOO!!! I AM SO FRIGGIN' HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!
