Bran's 3 eyed crow dream...that was cool. I see where they are going with this, I think. Having the crow lead him to where he needs to be in the dream world. Almost seems a better way to do it, without risk of looking cheesy with the original crow dreams.
HODOR. HODOR!!
Tyrion giving the saddle plans to Bran was adorable. I love Tyrion, really. He's awesome. Him ripping up Theon? uNf!!
Samwell. Hard scene to watch. I thought I'd feel bad, but I got mad at him for being so craven and pathetic. The scenes later were much better though. I like the relationship that Jon establishes right away with Sam, and how Sam's character gives Jon more chances to show his leadership potential. I love that they made Sam more sympathetic too. "It's cause I'm fat!" was awesome. "You don't know where to put it?" Sam likes girls? OMG!
Viserys can go to hell. I loved Danys standing up to him finally, and hitting him in the fucking face. Not sure what was up with the Doreah/Viserys sex scene...it wasn't that good (as in hot...well the wax was hot...it's wax!) I guess it gave some historical information.
Danys...my god, what an awesome scene. When she stands up to Viserys, it was just so great. Much love there.
I thought there was a lot of exposition in this episode, mostly historical tidbits. Have to be a lot for the non-reader to digest.
I love Arya, but missed the "That's not me, that's Sansa" line.
I thought the episode was good. It was really well written. I even had a sympathetic view of Ser Allisor Thorne! You even sort of feel bad for Cersei- they really made Robert a bastard. I have no major complaints, though I will admit to not liking the change with the Hound. Just because the Hound has been just there, in the background...doing nothing but growling and looking dour. And it's one of his best scenes. I just felt bummed about it, even if I understand why they are changing it- creating this mystery man feeling about Littlefinger.
The ending scene was intense. Peter Dinklage is outstanding, his facial expressions were spot on. The "WTF is this shit" look...just so good.
