PROM 1
Man I'm getting so excited for Prom. Nervous too. So I got my dress last night at David's Bridal. Amanda, Rebecca and my mom went with me (lol my sister, bro-in-law, and niece met us there). First we went to Elizabeths Bridal and Formal at the mall but the only one we found needed to be majorly altered in the back. There was this one dress that my mom absolutely loved but both Becks, Manda and I agreed that it looked like a hooker at a funeral dress. It was all mesh on the stomache so it was see through. Then we went on to Prevue at Grossmont and looked around. Haha Rebecca picked out this one for me and it took both of them and me to try to figure out how to put it on. So off to David's Bridal feeling very discouraged. But low and behold, Rebecca finds this dress black and white strapless with these vintage looking buttons on the back. And they have it in a size 4 so I try it on...and it's too big (lol chestwise) And it's past closing time there so all the ladies are over there watching me and one lady comes back with a size 2. Magically, this fits wonderfully and we all fall in love with it. Rebecca and Amanda are practically crying, my mom's frustrated because we're going to need to get the bottom altered, the salespeople are trying to get me shoes and things to go with the dress. So we bought it (it was 160 which is really a good deal) and went home. I called Dustin on the way home and told him about my dress adventures. So I also got my hair and nail apointment yesterday. I need to get my dress altered, get shoes, makeup, a strapless bra, decide what I want to do with my hair, and buy a bouteneer. Oh yeah, and I need to tan because I'm way uneven. So on another note, today is Chris' party. After that I'm going straight over to the mall with the Girls of Faith to pray for people. Then we're going back to Joce's house to make our club t-shirts and just hang out for a while. Busy busy busy.
