(no subject)
I have been getting a lot of overtime at work lately which is good. Technically, I could get overtime all of the time but I only pick it up when I have the extra energy and that is what has been going on. I've even gone into work on one of my days off last week which is way crazy.
Today, I went in at 12:45p.m. On my way to work, I was Caller X on 89x and I won some stuff and got qualified for that Red Hot Chili Peppers backyard bbq thing and a trip for two to LA. (By the way, this is the THIRD time I have been Caller X on 89x and won stuff!) But anyway, how sweet would that be if I actually won it? Sometimes though I think those sweepstakes are fake because I never hear of anyone winning. I think they might just say that they are entering you in the "sweepstakes" and giving you this extra gift just for being caller X but really I think they are just giving away the free stuff but maybe there is no real trip or having the RHCP play a special show in your backyard. That would be crazy. Come on people, could you really imagine the Red Hot Chili Peppers coming to my humdrum house in Warren to play a few songs and have a big party at my house? YEA RIGHT, I thought so too.
Anyway, I also got forced at work tonight, but someone came in at 1:00 a.m. to relieve me which was awesome. So I worked today from 12:45pm to 1:00am. Fun stuff. Then on my way home, I hit a raccoon, like I seriously killed it. I was going 60mph on Groesbeck when I saw this ball of something coming near my car. I hit it and kept going but then turned around to go back and see what the hell it was. I was scared that it might have been a dog so I always turn around to see if I'm not sure what it was. It was just a raccoon though but I hate hitting animals while I'm driving. I have killed many unfortunately from living in Adrian. I have killed a couple possums, raccoons, a few birds that have flown right into my car, and ONE cat! I'm horrible, I know.
Well this entry was kind of pointless, but I just wanted to write about my exciting day or whatnot. Now I have to get up tomorrow morning for staff training for my work from 10:00am - 6:00pm then I think we are going out to the bar or something, or I might just want to stay at work and work some more overtime. We'll see!
