As time goes on...

Another year has come and gone. I've been here at Le Moyne for three years now, and it feels like forever and yet only a few days at the same time. It's kinda weird. Each year has been drastically different from the other two, and while not consisting of all happy moments, I wouldn't trade a second of the experiences. Made some new friends, lost some of them as well as some old ones, grew closer to old friends, and met a group of girls that are absolutely fantabulous :-). And amidst all the science knowledge I've accumulated, there's some life lessons in there that I've learned along the way. Maaaaan, talk about a deep entry. I think my empty room is putting me in a thoughful mood. Even though it's the size of a closet, my room was still cozy. Now it's kinda dreary cause everything's packed up. Let's see if I can cheer this entry up a bit, shall we?

I'm one final away from freedom!!! Invertebrate is all I have left, and that's on Tuesday at noon. But I have to be back here at 11:15 to check out since they decided not to do check outs on Sunday. Oh well. At least not too many people will be moving out tomorrow. I was all by myself in the suite for most of today - and it was kinda strange. Nice, but strange. I got a new purse yesterday. It's really cute. It has a picture on it called Dancing Shoes - I think it's a painting. Just thought I'd throw that in there :-).

Ok, I'm digressing back to school. I think it's different leaving this year because part of me doesn't want to. I don't have a bitchy roommate that I want to get away from, and I don't want to leave my girls. I really can't wait for the apartment next year. Finally a drama-free year. I still can't believe there's only one year left here. It seriously feels like just yesterday I was moving into Dablon to start freshmen year. And I know next year is going to fly by just because it will be senior year. But we have 100 nights and Senior Week to look forward to. And me and the girls are going to save up to go on a cruise at the end of the year. Next year is going to be amazing. Cabaret is going to be great - me and Shelly are already planning for it. Oh yea, and here's my schedule for next year:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday
9:30-10:20 - Genetics
2:30-3:20 - Toxicology
3:30-4:20 (W) - Scientific Literature

Tuesday, Thursday
11:30-12:45 - Writing/Speaking in the Professions
1:00-2:15 - Brain and Behavior

And somewhere in the is Genetics lab (it's a go-when-you-can thing) and research. I'm going to be doing research with Dr. Pritts, our school's endocrinologist. Which means I'm going to be playing with the hormone levels of rats. Yes, I said rats. Live ones, too. Y'all can stop cringing, they're not that bad. They're like puppies. And I'm finally getting through to the people at Upstate so I should be working there again very soon. So my clinical experience for medical schools should be taken care of. Which is a relief, cause I know that's the only part of my application that's lacking. Although I don't know yet how I did on the MCAT. I'm hoping for a 30; if not, back in August I go to take it again. But I'm not going to think about that at the moment. But I think that's enough for now. Expect a full-blown emotional entry at the end of next year ;-).

Ciao bellas!
