I'm gonna be a mom soon...
This is now my third time trying to write an entry about my day and I am determined to finish it this time. I was also planning on going to bed about an hour ago, but I got caught up in a convo with Bethany, so I decided that sleep could wait. So now I'm tired, but I writing this entry, damn it!
Anyway, I went to the baby doctor today and I found out that I'm one and a half centimeters dilated and 75% effaced. The doctor also touched the baby's head with her finger! Wow, that was the eye-opener for me and Daniel that baby day is coming SOON! They also guesstimated her weight and based on the size of my uterus and such, they think she's right around 7 pounds! HOLY SHIT! There's a full-size baby in my belly! It's definitely time for her to come out soon, and if she's not here by next Friday, I'm taking castor oil to push this process along. I've heard nothing but success stories about the disgusting crap, so I figure I can hold my nose and choke it down. It will apparently "clean me out" if ya know what I mean, so that's not a bad thing either. I have been cramping a lot lately, which is also a good sign that true labor is very close. I guess we'll have to see!
In other news, yesterday was pretty fun. I got all of Delanie's stuff sorted out and her room actually looks organized now! The dresser is gorgeous and all of her stuff is now nicely stored where it should be. Jess came over to help me with all of my decorative stuff, and now Delanie's room looks like Disney World. I swear, it's kinda nuts. After that, we ate at Mi Pueblo (MMMMMM) and then visited my little. When we got to campus, there were cops outside and my little was talking to them. Apparently one of the kids from the little basketball camp called 911, so that was drama. It was pretty funny, though, to see my little chatting it up with the cops. For some reason, it didn't look all that weird, like she had done it before. Hmmm, maybe she's more of a little deviant than I thought! HA HA HA! We didn't stay TOO long because Jess and I were both tired, but it was nice to visit with her.
As far as the rest of the week/weekend goes, I have no clue. I know my mom and I are doing some laundry tomorrow and Bethany and my little are coming to visit me on Saturday, but that's all I know. If anyone has any fun ideas, be sure to keep me in mind!
