oireachtas practice was ok yesterday. made some progress on the 4-hand so that's good. the car ride home was a little unsettling though. some old cuban dude with gold teeth almost killed me by illegally changing lanes through a sharp turn in a construction zone. I look out the window to see a rather large, green pick up truck coming at me from across the freeway. my dad had to slam on the brakes and swerved into the break down lane to keep us from getting bug squashed. I am really glad he's a good driver, otherwise I would have been roadkill. but, he couldn't just leave it at that and let the moron (who was laughing his ass off by the way) go on his merry way. No, he had to chase him down, scream at him, give him the finger and speed ahead of him just to piss him off. I hate it when my dad gets all enraged like that. it's kind of scary.
I signed up for powder puff football! haha this is gonna be awesome! the freshman team will most likely suck, but that's ok. all in school spirit, right?
anyways, today seems to be better. Sarah and I rode our bikes to the pond next to the funeral home on anaquatucket (i can't nor do I want to try to spell it) to take some pictures at 6:45 AM. most of them came out pretty good, so once sarah shows me how, I will be posting them. let's just say that they are...interesting. the people driving by must have thought we were nuts, though. maybe we are. I had a good time though. it was just what I needed cuz we haven't been able to hang out much lately. also, I adore fall and the bike ride helped me clense my mind a little. I am a lot calmer today than I have been in a while.
