Vern, Moe and Charlie ran over to Nooks Cranny, and Vern quickly pulled the door open. Charlie ran in, followed quickly by Moe, whilst Vern held the door open.
"Where's Static? I don't want him to die!" Moe bawled, hugging Tom Nook in sadness.
"Moe, Moe! Static is going to be fine! Roald has took him back home, and I've called a doctor to arrive. She'll be here in no time!"
Moe stopped sobbing, and wiped his eyes. "Really?"
"Really! Now, hurry along to Static, we have a new resident here today, but her taxi driver would only go as far as the bottom of the mountain, and I have to go collect her! Don't want her to feel lost, now, do we?"
"Okay, did Roald buy any medicine?" Charlie breathed.
"No, my medicine is only good for colds and bee stings I'm afraid..."
"Okay! C'mon guys, let's go!" Charlie said, running out the door. Moe followed, and Vern shut the door.
The trio soon arrived at Static house, where he was lying in his bed. He had a horrible cut that went through his eye, but luckily his eyelid was shut when it happened. Three smaller claw cuts were carved into his chin. His skin was a bit lighter purple than ever.
"Static! Are you all right?" Moe asked, running up to him, and hugging him.
"Moe, Moe, I'm fine...Moe? Moe! Moe, get off me!" Despite his injuries, Static managed to push Moe off him, but he choked.
"Static!" Moe shrieked, and began to cry.
"Did I hear a choke?" Roald, Moe, Vern and Charlie looked around, to see a human woman at the door. She was wearing a white outfit, with a small hat. She held a brown suitcase in one hand, and her other hand held an emergency first aid kit.
"Are you here to help Static?" Vern said, "you got here quick!"
"Actually, we were in the area," the woman said. She had shocking pink hair. "I bought my daughter with me, is that okay? Oh, and me and Static are going to need some space..."
"Oh, okay!" Roald said, ushering the others out of Statics hut.
"I don't suppose any of you can look after my daughter?" The nurse said.
"Mum, I don't need looking after! I'm twelve years old, after all." The girl said. She had long blonde hair, tied up in a ponytail. Her arms were folded over her Big A shirt.
"We'll show her around!" Charlie piped up.
"Charlie, what?" Vern mumured to his housemate.
"Yeah, it'll be cool havinng a girl around," Charlie grinned. The girl sighed, but smirked.
"Fine, I'll hang with you, mum, you can go to work now."
"Well, okay then Lisa, if you're sure..."
"Guess what? I am!" Lisa said. "Now, go save that chipmunk!"
Lisa mother smiled, and closed the door of the hut. Outside, Lisa turned around to face Charlie and Vern.
"Why do you want to hang about with me?" Lisa asked Charlie.
"Well, we could go fishing...?" Charlie shrugged. Vern shook his head, and sighed.
"...whatever..."
"Wait, I don't have a fishing rod..." Vern pointed out.
"I have a spare in my bag, come on."
After Vern had been donated a fishing rod, the trio ran down to the beach. Charlie was the first to cast his line - his golden line to be exact - followed by Lisa who effortlessly threw hers out further than the rich boy. Vern just threw him out a couple of metres, but was the first one to get a bite.
"Charlie! I have a bite!" Vern shouted, digging his heels into the sand.
"Pull it up, then!" Charlie grinned, then turned to Lisa. "Amateurs, eh?"
"Charlie? You've misplaced your golden fishing rod," Lisa said matter-of-factly, watching Charlies horrified face as a small fish swam away with his rod.
"Oh, no way!" Charlie cried out, and with one swift jump, he had dived into the water, leaving Vern and Lisa speechless. Vern even let go of his fish in surprise. After two minutes of swimming, and a few shrieks from Lisa after he nearly fell into the waterfall, but managed to find a rock as his legs dangled dangerously.
"All that for a fishing rod?" Vern asked, grabbing his hand, and hoisting him up to the sandy safety.
"Not just any old fishing rod," Charlie spluttered, spitting a string of seaweed from his mouth. "I worked hard for that. I caught every species of fish that resides in Sutton, and that took me three hours. Now that I've got the golden fishing rod, the fish are instantly attracted to my bait...it's like a prize, if you will...I'm soaking, and cold, can we go back to the house now? I think I'm coming down with something," Charlie explained.
"You do look a bit pale...let's get you back. Besides, my mother will be finished soon, and I'll be going home."
Charlie nodded in agreement, and changed clothes to a five-ball shirt. They got back to the house, and Vern, Charlie, and Lisa set out the modern furniture that Charlie had bought with him. Lisa said it was too dark, and in the catalogues at home, Vern had hoped he had bought robo-furniture. After an hour of watching tv and messing about, Lisas mother came to the door, and picked her up. The girl waved goodbye to the boys, and left the village in her mothers car. Static was being checked upon the next day, which meant that Lisa was visiting again. As night came, the boys went to sleep, Charlie worrying that his fishing rod would rust, and Vern wishing he would find some robo-furniture.
