let's see if i can sum it all up.....
NYC...
got to spend time with my boy, so obviously, it was awesome
Dallas...
-- spent 4 nights rooming with 3 guys, two of whom decided to make sex and porn their cheif topics of conversation
-- got myself a cowgirl hat ;)
-- ate some AMAZING mexican food(even though i'm not a big fan), and chinese food
-- more quality time with my favorite people
-- got to go to a career fair and not care about anything cuz i already have a coop =D
-- had an AWESOME TIME
My birthday...
-- was taken out to a really nice dinner at Ruby Foo's with some friends
-- randomly ran into Rebecca on the subway, and got to catch up with her
-- got a yummy rum cake, cool presents, and lots of wishes ( thanks!=) )
Varsity Vocals competition...
we did an awesome job. our group really has come together since our first concert this year. we didn't make it to the next level ( which to tell you the truth, highly pissed me off ), but it was fun overall. the 8 hour ride to pittsburgh turned out to be amusing. the ride back was even better, esp since it was the weekend of the big blizzard. we made a pit stop at niagara falls and got some crazy picts taken, with each of us freezing our asses off. i had hoped to see justin at cmu, but we contacted each other and never found the time to meet. afterall, i was only there for pretty much a day.
My coop so far...
it's awesome. i love it. the people here are amazing and extremely willing to help me out in any way. my manager knows about as much as i do, because she's new as well, so it's great.
my apartment is kind of boring, living there by myself, but i've got a few friends from work that are only a phone call away.
i get to visit roni in rhode island frequently, because he's only a half hour away from me and boston is also only a half hour from me, so its great.
mmmm....loving it..... =D
so if you're ever in the area, you know what to do ;)
besides all of that, its taking me a while getting used to not being at school, and seeing my friends and him practically everyday, and its sad to have to hug a pillow every night instead of the real thing. but i know it's only going to make us stronger in the long run.
Genna: i miss you girl. it seems our lives are taking us in 2 separate directions, and partly that's my fault. let's actually try to meet up the next time we're in the same town!
