A random update
It really hasn't been a bad week. I got a cell phone Monday... here I was thinking that I wouldn't use it that often, i've already talked on it for close to 10 hours... It has only 5 days since i've gotten it. At least for the most part it has been evenings, so its not using up my minutes. I can call my love when he is working all the time!!!! I hope to see him soon, maybe in a couple of weeks, money is a bit tight at the moment.
We got new RF guns at work, they are so cool. Touch screen, you can actually get to the menus you need to get too from where ever you are at, instead of having to take the batteries out, you just put the whole unit on the charger. They do have Microsoft pocket PC software... so I'm waiting for one to blue screen, and i'm going to laugh. They also had the rack open when I was there and I took a glimpse into it. We actually have some nice networking equipment... I want the switch!
I'm working on a stole for a girl I work with, I'm hoping to get it down in less then 2 weeks since it is for her for when she goes to see the phantom of the opera, but of course she is quite ill at the moment, she said the docs thought she might have mono, so she might not be able to to go anyway. I at least have a commisioned project, woohoo... and its lace even. I like doing laces, keeps me more entertained then doing the same stitch, row after row after row (it does have a repeating pattern, but it repeats every 8 rows, not every row or every other row).
I think my ex might have lost his job... figures since he's got to go to court sometime in August, I'm sure he will at least get charged with contempt of court this time. Last time they wanted too... he already had a job and had been paying his child support. I got his state and federal tax refunds, but nothing else from him child support wise in a year. If he keeps it up, he'll be going to jail for lack of paying it soon.
