sometimes laziness is good
mmmm....what a lazy weekend i had! it was SO very nice! and i actually accomplished a few things too! woo hoo! yay, go me! friday night, i went straight home from work and was passed out within 30 minutes of walking in the door. got up around 11 pm, returned a phone call, then went back to sleep around 12:30. woke up at 11 am on saturday, wandered around the apartment for a few hours, went back to bed around 2 pm. slept until 5 pm when my dad called. i needed to get his flight information from him before the plane took off, so i called him back right away. that evening i managed to read chapter 2 in my political science textbook before a couple of my buddies came by later on to *cough, cough* chill at my place. i finally watched Full Metal Jacket that night. i hadn't seen it before then, and every time i made mention of that fact, i was met with a response along the lines of "Oh my god! I can't believe you haven't seen THAT!!!! Whats the matter with you???? Do you live under a rock or something?????" Etc, etc... Sara was over and had not seen it before either, so we watched it together. passed out about 3 am. woke up sunday morning around 11 to kev not-so-quietly coming by to throw his laundry in my dryer on his way to work. couldn't go back to sleep after that, so i just turned on the tv. my morning and early afternoon consisted of watching Disclosure followed by The Devil's Advocate. after that, a buddy of mine from school came by and we wandered over to barnes & noble to work on homework for our calc ii class. we finished that in a mere 3 hours, got some fast food, and went back to my place. watched The Order last night and started to pass out around 2 am. around 2:30 my dad calls from LA. i'm startled out of an almost-asleep state, so i answer the phone. ends up he mistakenly thought that Atlanta was 3 hours behind Los Angeles instead of ahead! silly dad...
