I saw a picture today
haven't seen him in years
upon seeing it I thought
"Ah, that's my baby"
He hasn't been mine
in a very long time
Was I wrong, or just delayed?
Do I feel now what he once conveyed?
Love? couldn't be.
ridiculous really,
especially after all this time
