I decided to make further comments about our new branch in this journal as only a select few will understand things to be talked about.
Our branch had GREAT attendance. Infact it appeared to have the same amount of attendance as our last ward did, which was impressive.
There are 6 missionaries (none of which took the time to return my phone call for help unloading our moving truck when we got here) and I was told that they usually have 4 at all times.
I guess just a few years ago they were only a Sunday School group and they have now grown into large numbers. So they all seemed to be very excited to be where they are now.
Oh... and they are a "Good Morning" kinda group. So it was fast and testimony meeting, and each time everyone stood to bear their testimony and they said, Good Morning Brothers and Sisters..... the congregation responded back with Good Morning! (except for the Hawaiian guy, and he said Aloha!). It caught us a little off gaurd.
It was however the first reverent Sacrament Meeting we have had in awhile. There were several (15 or under) small children, but our ward in Mankato had many many more (60 or under).
I hope its a place that we can do good in and that will be a great support for us. It feels like it, so I am excited.
Anyway, just random babbling, but it felt like I should have expanded more on the topic in my other journal, so I did so here :)
