Mid-Week Update
It feels nice to know that we are being spared by Hurricane Irene, but I worry for those who are in the path of the strengthening storm. We are going to get some of the outer rim, but not near as much as anticipated. Just lots of rain and some winds - nothing that we can't handle of course, since we've had stronger thunderstorms than we are going to get off of the side of this hurricane.
First accounting class went well, though the first thing in my head was my teacher looks a lot like aged Draco from the 19 years later portion of Deathly Hallows Part II. Draco Malfoy's looks and receding hair line, and the personality of a Weasley. Or even Colin Creevy.
Calculus is going well so far, and making me fall even more in love with math. The rules, though, can go kiss it. They read like stereo instructions. I learn better through example.
Lots of things to do today, so I best be off!
