Well I am going to make this short and sweet. . . I am kind of in a rush. For me it is quite hard to get involved with a book, but this book caught my attention. The main issue that really caught my attention was why Lieutenant Jimmy Cross gave up his "love" for Martha? Althought he did not know if it was false love or not,but he just gave up. Was it really his fault that Ted Lavender got shot? I mean come on it was war people got shot all the time. Was there really anything he coul really aout it? I o think after he got over Martha he was more focus and proabably a better Lieutentant, because he did not have and much on his mind. When reading the second chapter "love" or what ever you want to call it, it did remind me of my grandpa would tell me about his war stories. I do feel bad for Jimmy because he still loved Martha, and it seemed like she still had feelings for him and over all the years she still never found anyone else. The saddest thing to me was all the soldiers thought they put there life on hold, but when they got back every thing changed. . . Well for now this is all i have, I will try to update this later because i still have more thoughts just not enough time!

. . . I will update soon!
