IZA FELL IN LOVE WITH BATANES, NOT WITH KEN
THE movie “Batanes: Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan,” which pairs Iza Calzado with F4 star Ken Zhu, is set to be released on December 5 and Iza can’t control her excitement. It’s the same excitement she felt the first time she set foot in Batanes where the movie was shot on location. In fact, she fell in love with the place that she’s thinking of buying a house there.
Iza is very much secure with her career. She’s set to finish “Batanes: Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan” with Ken Zhu under the director of Adolf Alix, Jr. and Dave Hukom. Well, she didn’t fell in love with Ken while they were doing the film in Batanes. After all, Iza is very happy with her lovelife. But she did say that she and Ken fell in love with Batanes.
“We are very good friends,”says Iza about her leading man who is a member of the popular group F4. They are textmates and while Ken was here in the country to shoot Batanes, they were in constant touch. She’s looking to meeting him when they start their promo for their movie.

Magkasunod ang showing ng indie films niyang Mona (November 30) at Batanes: Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan (December 5).

Magkasunod niyang nakatrabaho sina Jesse Bradford sa The Echo at Ken Zhu sa Batanes at heto ang description niya sa dalawa: “Jesse is a beautiful person and likes to protect people. I heard some stories sa set na mabait siya and he loves dried mangoes. “Si Ken, mahilig sa food at gusto niya ng chocnut at dried mangoes. Ang tawag namin sa kanya’y Pinoy, dahil para siyang Pinoy, mabait siya lalo na sa malilit na trabahador, considering na Asian superstar siya. He loves to sing standard songs and he sings well.
“Para siyang si Harry Connick Jr. at favorite niya ang Desperado ng Eagles. Hinarana niya ang lahat at ’pag break time, kakanta na lang siya.”

MAY naiiwan pa yatang ilang eksena si Ken Zhu sa pelikulang Batanes: Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan, kaya babalik ang F4 member end of November to re-sume shooting at baka tumuloy na rin daw sa big promo ng pelikulang nakaiskedyul nang ipalabas sa mga sinehan sa Dec. 5.
Masyado nga raw na-in-love si Ken sa Pilipinas, particularly sa Batanes kung saan kinunan ang ka-buuan ng pelikula nila ni Iza Calzado.
Itinuturing nga raw ni Ken na paradise ang isla ng Batanes.
“I love this place, this is a paradise.I didn’t expect actually that this movie to turn out like this… so cool. I’ve never seen a place as beautiful as this,” sambit ni Ken Zhu sa isang TV interview sa kanya.
Maliban sa ganda ng lugar, humanga rin daw ang Taiwanese super actor sa mga tao sa Batanes. Ramdam daw niya ang pa-giging mabait ng mga ito. Maging ang staff and crew ng Batanes ay pinupuri niya.
“They’re definitely the most heartwarming people I’ve ever known. They make me feel at home everyday and they’re really good. And now they are like family to me,” dagdag pa ng leading man ni Iza.
Saludo rin si Ken sa ganda at husay ni Iza bilang isang artista. Sa likod nga raw ng kamera, may na-buong isang magandang pagkakaibigan sina Iza at Ken.
“She’s a cool person, you know, you can get along with her very easily. She does all the talking and then suddenly she’s a good friend, so it’s been my pleasure working with her. We have a lot of fun everyday,” pagtatapat pa ni Ken.

BABALIK pa si Iza Calzado sa Batanes.
...
After kasi matapos ang girl sa The Echo, ang Hollywood version ng Sigaw, nag-Batanes naman siya for her movie with Ken Zhu.
Now, we heard hindi pa pala tapos ang principal photography of the Ignite Media movie dahil babalik pa si Iza sa Batanes for the final shoot.
Hindi lang namin alam kung babalik din ang F4 member.
