I always said that I would write even if no one read it. I never expected that Livejournal would put this claim to the test. I am not particularly attached to LJ, but I am sad that there doesn't seem to be a place online anymore where people congregate to discuss lengthy, complicated thoughts -- you know, like the importance of finding the perfect Lady Gaga wig.
I had to miss the craftification from Saturday to Sunday because I realized that some friends of mine are getting married on Saturday and they will be expecting me that afternoon. Sunday will involve copious quantities of glue and glitter. I imagine it will be a little like kindergarden, if kindergarden served mimosas.
You make me really wish I had the wherewithal to participate in the gathering of the gagas. Alas, packing and moving over halloween (again!) has me far too swamped to get into the halloween spirit. Boo.
Project Gaga is spreading hope and inspiration: the challenge of trying to recreate The Meat Dress has totally snapped me out of my post-wedding depression. New pet project = hooray!
Oh, remind me to show you a long-hair trick with wearing wigs; I don't know if it would work with the squid, but it worked for me when I had extensions and braids down to my butt.
geez well after trying on the officially licensed gaga wigs... which are hideous. hideous!!
I went to rite aid and bought a 7 dollar wig. I have a child sized head, and nearly no natural hair of my own... so I guess it's a blessing in wigland.
