Day 1 in LA
okay, so i am staying with friends of the family, who happen to have a laptop with them. so i'm doing some quick updates here and there of the trip.
My plane was supposed to depart at 9:30 a.m. due to technical difficulties, it was delayed. by three hours. I was supposed to be at LAX by 11:15 am (3 hour time difference), but i didn't get in until about 3. Anyway, we went straight from the airport to Beverly hills. We spent about three hours "shopping" down Rodeo Dr. (i use the term "shopping" lightly, considering all i bought was a "BEBE" tank). After we had some dinner, we decided to head over to Hollywood.
effing amazing.
we went to the China theatre, where i saw the handprints of a bunch of stars (including Dan, Emma, and Rupert from HP), then we walked down to the Kodak theatre. I saw the tanning salon from the E! reality series, and i saw a church of scientology. it was freaking sweet.
Brenna's sister has a friend who is a producer in Hollywood. and he got us into one of LA's hottest clubs. where all the celebs go. you have to be on the list to get into this place, and he got us on it. we were all changed and ready to go, and then our parents decided not to let us. we were sooooo unbelievably pissed. So we just hung out in Hollywood for the rest of the night, until we got back to the hotel. Brenna, me, Chris and Caitlin's brother went swimming for a couple hours. now it's 2am here, but feels much later, since it is 5am in detroit.
tomorrow, we are going shopping, and then i'm hoping that those who are over 18 will be heading to a comedy club (there are so many of them!!). Friday is the pageant. on saturday morning, our producer friend, David is taking us to the set of one of Richard Simmons work out videos, where i get to meet him and do a 1 hour work out session with him. i'm so freaking pumped.
it's absolutely amazing out here. i love every bit of it. but i'm already missing everyone, and i've only been gone for a day....
by the way, i was wrong in my last post. i am leaving saturday night, and will be back sunday morning.
