apparently the kitten picture didn't work the first time, so I pulled some strings, and VOILA! i give you, Gizmo (aka Gizzy), our new baby kitty man. Jen gave him the new name. Chiya, I remember that used to be your guinea pig's name and there's that silly picture of me holding him when we were little. hehe anyway, here he is (sorry if this is huge and takes forever to load):

THE TEACHER SMART-ASS ANSWER OF THE YEAR: A college teacher reminds her class of tomorrow's final exam. "Now class, I won't tolerate any excuses for you not being here tomorrow. I might consider a nuclear attack or a serious personal injury or illness, or a death in your immediate family but that's it, no other excuses whatsoever!"A smart-ass guy in the back of the room raised his hand and asks, "What would you say if tomorrow, I said I was suffering from complete and utter sexual exhaustion?" The entire class does its best to stifle their laughter and snickering. When silence is restored, the teacher smiles sympathetically at the student, shakes her head, and sweetly says, "Well, I guess I'd say you'd have to write the exam with your other hand."
HAHAHA OH NO SHE D' INT!!! what a cool teacher.
anyway, on a serious note, school is still going well. Dan visited this past weekend and we went on our perfect date (which was perfect on all accounts) and then to the Dane Cook show (which was hilarious). We also hit up Duganpalooza and midnightbreakfast and dyed Dan's hair blue. It looks awesome. He had to leave right after we woke up the next morning, which kinda sucked, but it was still a lot of fun. I meeesss heeem :( Otherwise, I'm getting into all my activities at school this week, which so far include CADETS (alcohol and drug awareness club), Koinonia (again), Yearbook, WLOY (Loyola radio), club badminton, and volunteering at Don Miller House. needless to say, my schedule is going to be pretty packed, but I like it that way. It makes the time pass more quickly and I get to meet tons of cool people.
I suppose that's all for now. I'll try to update this thing more often and keep in touch with everyone as best I can. I'm sorry if I don't respond to phone calls and voicemails right away. I'm bad at checking my voicemail. I need to get on that. anyway, I hope everyone's having a fantastic school year.
