hahaha how weird is this. when I first saw the commercials for Phantom of the Opera, I thought the girl that plays Christine (Emmy Rossum) looked a lot like this girl from an old Disney Channel original movie, "Genius." I'm watching the Golden Globes and they're interviewing her on the red carpet, so I decided to look her up online and sure enough, she IS the girl from Genius!!! haha! that's so weird. she's apparently classically trained in opera in like 50zillion languages, yet somehow she got shafted playing the love interest of some dorky kid in a Disney Channel movie. that blows. oh well, atleast her career seems to have bounced back from that low point.
