I think I'm going to start spelling everything the british way, just for the hell of it, because british english is my favourite. just think of all the fun words i'll get to use. like colour, and theatre, and moustache, and foetus!!! well, maybe not foetus....but most definitely moustache. we'll see how long this lasts......
Today my poofy vest from Land's End....wait a second....jen is taking a picture of me....why is jen taking a picture of me?!?!?! apparently I look like an island castaway in my baggy pants, t-shirt, messy hair, and bare feet and she feels that this is worthy of taking a picture. I think what she's trying to tell me is that I look like a bum. thanks, Jen. thanks a lot :(
anyway as I was saying, today my poofy vest from Land's End arrived in the mail. It's black and full of feathers and I looooove it. I was so excited that it came! hooray for poofy vests :) since my mom got me my iPod, I'm basically not getting anything but stocking-stuffers for Christmas this year. le sigh. so alas, I must provide myself with my own Christmas presents by spending my Amazon.com gift certificate. I still have $8 left on it. What does one buy on Amazon.com with $8?? socks?? I have to cover the cost of shipping too....so that basically leaves me like a $3 window for making my actual purchase. how gay. Amazon.com has robbed me blind with their inflated shipping rates and sales tax. bah humbug!
in other news, I'm overwhelmed with work, but I get to go see Dan this weekend (I hope), so that gives me something to look forward to :)
back to work on my english paper. farewell friends!
ps: apparently the british spell diarrhea "diarrhoea"......honestly, sometimes they can be so british. that stupid "o" they snuck in there is just confusing and pointless. there's no "o" in diarrhea! get a clue, britain. I give up on your silly language already.
