Thoughts....

So yesterday was pretty interesting...NOT! The laundry terrorists were back, except this time they didn't touch my clothes. They just left their clothes in the dryer so my clothes stayed soaking wet in the washer. I was soooo pissed. Kevin and I decided to go to the local laundromat. Suprisingly it was not a bad experience. The laundromat was very clean with new machines (better than the one I used to go to in Bedford...ghetto). So now we have a date with the laundromat every week. It is pointless to try and do laundry at the apartment. Answer this...why would you have one washer and dryer for 12 apartments? They could easily put 2-3 stackables in that room. No common sense at all!

Speaking of common sense, I need to vent about the way they keep our parking lots. They salt when salt is not needed. They don't shovel snow, unless deemed necessary, which means when everyone has already left for work. Two weeks ago, our parking lot had at least 4 inches of ice over the entire thing. Did they salt? HELL NO! Oh, and another thing, what is up with the smoking in the hallways, is it that hard to wait to walk down 10 steps and out the door before you light up?

Ok...now I feel better.

So it was Wildcard Weekend this weekend. Some of those games were huge upsets. Oh well, as long as Pitt does good, I will be happy. I am concerned about next week. I do a poll at work and I am stuck on the Indy - New England game. Indy hasn't won at Foxboro since 1995. So who knows what will happen at that game.

I have another paper due on Wednesday. I hate writing and that is all we do in our grad program. Suprisingly I have done very well on all my papers, even though I don't start them until the day they are due. How? I dunno. Even Dee questions me on that one.

Speaking of Dee, she might come home this coming weekend, weather permitting. I hope she does so her and Tommy can come over and watch the Pitt game on Saturday. I like when she comes to visit.

So, Kevin's birthday is in 9 days. My baby is gonna be 27!! I told him he can pick out a gift for his birthday. I had a hard enough time picking his christmas presents so I decided to let him make this decision on his own. We are going to Smokey Bones for dinner. I let him pick that too.

I have been toggling with the idea of posting a link to my LJ on my profile with Yahoo. I don't know. I don't see what it would hurt. I don't know.

Well, I should probably get back to work so I don't have to stay late tonight.
