It's been a really long time since I wrote it on here wouldn't you say? Well it's been a bumpy road and it is continuing to spiral every which way. I am finally leaving Tower Records! Whaoo! Tis true, i am going in search of a better job that i could call, home. (car screetches to a holt) Home? Yeah Right! But I will find a job soon . I'm not a bum, well not really. You know it's not so bad to take a break you know. I can get alot of shit done. I can work on my movie script i started in 8th grade and never ever finished, also i lost it so i gotta start over. that sucks but It's still alll in my head. I can sleep, lord knows i need it. Whatever, possibilities are endless. I gotta get over this damn cold though. It seems as though i am very prone to colds. I feel like i have this bright glowing sign on my head that says "La Club De Colds" Enter Here. yeah i try to be funny but it's not working. Let me tell you what's been goin' on since the last time i wrote. I love my apartment it's so awesome. I've had mad party goings on. I have had random sexual encounters. well ok just saying it out loud really. The thing is, and I hate that i have this, OCD.
It sucks that i have this disease. I get so frustrated about dust, that I am constantly cleaning and vacuuming. Oh yeah, I bought this fantabulous vacuum. It's big and red and vacuumes the shit outta the place. It even leaves the lines in the carpet. If you vacuum your apartment/parents home, you know what i'm talking about. I have a red and white them going on too. So if anyone sees some cool red junk anywhere please tell me about it. :)
Until now I thought I was loosely dating this one guy, but he hasn't called me since after Thanksgiving. Why are men such shit? I mean I know people are very very busy, but unless you breath,sleep,eat,walk,shop, and talk work, you have no excuse not to call me ok?! It really takes no time. I have been guilty of not callling someone in the same day but i have valid excuses for those. I do! Anway I met him at a party that my good friend Tynika held at her last living area, which she shares with some cool peeps in rockville. He came into the room so waspy-like. You know in a hurry but talking to every person as his destination was the kitchen. saying things like "why hello darlin', and how are you sweetie" really queeny right? well, I guess it was just for humor, cause he really isn't like that, well I find it cute, i mean i had a boyfriend (John) that was really queeny and it pissed me off. But Greg(guy at party) was doing it a mellow but comfortable way. Ok anyone lost? it's ok it's like 8am. so I'm still waking up. Well, we started flirting and shit. well long story short, we started seeing a little more of each other every other week. I don't know what happened. oh well.
Had a great halloween party. I got dressed up looking like the nurse from Kill Bill. I looked more like Dee Snider From Twisted Sister, well a low key version, if such a thing. Got really high and had some not so friendly people over that i swore stole some stuff, cds, dvds. I have such a horrid memory, that I tell people they can borrow stuff but later down the road i forget who took what, so ok, maybe they are being borrowed not sure, but it has been a while. So if anyone has anything of mine, please return it just so i know nothing was stolen from that day. I know it sounds wierd but i just wanna go through all of my movies and cds. Thanks.
My cousins and Uncle and Aunt came for the Thanksgiving holiday. That was awesome. Well, not as awesome as I would have liked, 'cause I had to work but nonetheless great. I found out my cousin Brandon smokes. Oh did we have a smoke out party between us. It was great. history in the making. We made a pumpkin and brown sugar pie for dinner. I can't believe we made a great pie, it was fucking good as shit! Of course, my Mom was like " why you making a pumpkin pie with graham cracker crust"? i was like " It's something different" and yet she had an apple pie with cheese crust? which was yummy but, hello don't be critisizing my pie and then having a non traditional pie yourself. honestly yeesh!
My grandma came for Christmas/Chanukkah. I love her so much. Imagine an 80 year old version of Lucille Ball. you know "I Love Lucy". and add in a small similarity to Rose and Sophia from the Golden Girls and you got my grandma "Nana" as she likes to be called. She got so drunk with my mom one night, i called from work and they were like laughing for 15 minutes and I was in tears from laughing with them. They made no sense whatsoever. She bought me red dishes and red bowls for my red and white apartment. I got some Red and gold patterned pillows from my neighbor and I got a bigger,used,TV from my dad. Not red. I got a stuffed dog from Alyson, which was so funny. We had a secret santa thing at work and all I wanted was a puppy. I told everyone that i wanted a dog so badly.But a real dog is way over 20 dollars. Alyson tuned out not being my secret santa, but she did give me a stuffed puppy, that was so great.
Leo came here for a couple weeks, which is soo cool! I missed you man. Alot! I had few people to hang out with after work. Dede and Leo and I hung out some nights. Lauren came home too! It was oodles of fun to have her. She showed me her final project which was fuckin' awesome as shit. Fruit and Make-up. Those pictures are fantastic. I can't wait to go up to NY and hang out. I am so glad I just told myself to go. I need to get outta here even thou it's only for a couple days.
Leo, Lauren and I watched Naussica. Dude, if you have not seen this movie, rent it. It's a japanimation film. Battles galore and Uma Thurman. Also, there is this other movie which Leo and I watched last night, Castle In The Sky. Awesome! James Dan Der Beek, oh yes the voice talent of Mr. Dawson Leary himself. The girl who played Rogue in X-Men and Cloris Leechman(Spanglish). You gotta see these movies.
Movies not to see and see, that I saw in 2005:
King Kong (new Edition)- This movie stars Naomi Wattts, Jack Black, and Adriane Brody. What I have to say about this movie is repulsive to me. Well, not the movie itself, but more or less the actors. Naomi Watts had, just like every actor in the biz, a stunt double. however, this stunt double you could clearly see was two feet shorter then Naomi, she had man shoulders, you could obviously see the altercations of the dress to fit this monsterous shoulders. and she had curly light brown hair, hello, Naomi has blonde hair. You can never put jack Black in a movie and think that you will take him seriously. He plays a lousy no good for nothing director that tries to make millions by discovering a never before discovered island where, who is?, that's right kiddies, King Kong himsoef. Big in size, but puppy like quality when he and Niomi meet. I love Peter Jackson for his Lord of The Rings Epic, but He would have made Chronicles of Narnia better. DO NOT PUT MONEY TOWARDS THIS MOVIE!!!
Which brings me to my next movie...
The Chronicles of Narnia - I love the books. I read them alot when i was a little boy. It was fantastic to see it on a big screen. They could have pciked a meaner Queen but what the hey. They kids looked like thay had no facial expressions whatsoever. But so much better than King King. Go see this movie if you are a fan of the books.
Fun with Dick and Jane: Jim Carrey trying to be funny, yet again. This movie is a remake by the way, not alot of people know this. The original, I forget the year, but it stars a young Jane Fonda. If I had to write a real review of this movie, I would have to say only that, the original was way better, but a really good attempt to do a remake, better luck next time. Though for everyone's sake there better not be one. DO NOT PUT MONEY TOWARDS THIS MOVIE!
Brokeback Mountain- all I have to say is that Jake G. is an amazing fucking good actor with eyes like a god. I love him so much. He needs to be gay. I'm sorry but Michelle Williams playing someone else, other than Jen Linly (Dawson's Creek), not happening. Great story though.
Aight, I'm not typing anymore, I'm gonna go sleep some more and eat. laterz!!
