Procrastination and Weather...
Well, as I've started all of my other posts this year... It's been a while since an update...
In a nutshell I've been busy with work, school, and Brent (3 things of which I like a lot-especially the Brent part)
I've changed my major... As many people know, I am no longer a Telecom-News major; I have switched sides and am now a Telecom-Production major. I love my new classes soooooo much! I am taking 5 classes: TV and American Society, Television Programming, Fundamentals of Production, Advanced Writing for electronic media, and stress and anxiety management. As you can see I'm taking 4 tv classes; they're all pretty cool.
I love being a production major sooo much tho. It's my way of having my cake and eating it too! I get to learn EVERYTHING behind the scenes of tv and film, AND I will still be able to be on air talent and act too. It is sooo exciting!
What is also exciting is that I was just cast (i don't know if that's the right term for news) as a First Edition Weather Girl for WUFT News. Tonight I had my training, and it is A LOT less overwhelming than I had originally thought. So if you are going to be in Alachua, Marion, Gilchrist, Columbia, and other surrounding counties and happen to be watching TV on Mondays, tune in at 11:52am on WUFT news and you'll see me!
