Wow... Already?
Ok so i finished early... I'm an SFCC Honors Grad!!! Graduation last friday was sooooo awesome. My mom, dad, sister, Grandma and her boyfriend, Thomas and Jamie, my bestest best friend Darling and of course my wonderful boyfriend came to see me. I was excited, but actually not too hyped. However, when I got there it ALL changed...
I found out that I was chosen to be the SFCC Nominee for the Florida Outstanding Scholars and Achievers Award. Only two nominees are chosen for every college in the state, and since I was chosen I get to go to a state convention, and i'm in the running for the Outstanding Scholars Award (only one student will be chosen from the state of florida to compete for the National Scholar award).
I'm seriously still in shock... I feel so smart! lol. I was interviewed back in august for this, because I guess a lot of professors recommended me, I didn't apply for anything. Now, since i'm nominated and will be attending UF this year, UF is supposed to be offering me a full ride, on top of Bright Futures!!!! So thank you everyone for your support when i spazzed from stress from all of my activities and classes, especially you Brent, thanks for the support!
I'm soo excited too because for the FIRST TIME in my whole life, I got straight A's!!!! Man, i need to figure out what I did right this time, and keep doing it, because I honestly don't know how I did this, especially with my 19 credit hours...
Now, i'm back up to gainesville for tonight and tomorrow because I have to work at 4am at the station. I guess I should go to bed now...
Sorry for not updating much at all, but I think from now on, since i'll have PLENTY of free time I will keep ya'll posted!
