Something about the date - 6 June, struck me at mid-morning. And I felt almost sure I was forgetting an important date, or something had occurred...but what?
It wasn't my father's birthday nor was it my mother's. The first person I thought of was my father probably due to the fact that father's day is coming up. Then later that afternoon or early evening, the line from the Cure song, Bloodflowers came to mind, `I let fall flowers of blood.'
Now what is all that about? Woke up this morning still thinking about it.
