I got my wisdom tooth out yesterday, it was... painful. More painful than expected anyway, I thought it would be something like strong anaesthesia helping me through but holy cow, the dentist was rough. It probably hurt because my wisdom tooth was lopsided so it was in an awkward position for it to be removed. She was actually about to cut into my gum to remove it but she said recovery would be longer so she prefers to do it this way. Which I'm glad she did because I need the fastest option for healing since I'm going out all week next week. I'm gonna die next week.

So I'm just resting today, was going to go shopping with a friend today but I do need to rest my mouth as talking a lot of be painful.

In other news, iPhone 5 is out today. Anyone getting it? Unfortunately I won't be getting it as I already own a 4s so upgrading is a bit... pointless. I feel like for the next few iPhone generations, the margin of improvement will become smaller because well, there's nothing more to improve. The way these companies are producing smartphones is faster than development of new technology itself, so naturally, what happens when you catch up - there just won't be anything more to improve on. But anyway, I'm interested to see how much more "improved" the iPhone 5 is, my brother has pre-ordered it as he's upgrading his 3gs (long awaited), but I doubt it'll be anything particularly groundbreaking. In fact, I've already heard a fair amount of slagging off about the new Apple maps where some landmarks are mapped into the sea or in a river. Googlemaps all the way for me, please.

Apart from me rambling on about technology, university finally starts for me in a few days. In some prospects I'm excited to be starting my final year but in other prospects, the future scares me. I'm still wondering what my plan B will be if I don't get into a masters course. Of course, SLT is very competitive, not only is it funded by the government which = no fees to pay, so I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't get into any. Places are also very limited. So I guess my plan B would be to just get out there and get a job related to psychiatry.

Well, I need to get good grades in my final year before thinking about the future so, time to work hard!
