For the millionth time, yes I know.
I'm still alive!
I noticed that I haven't blogged on here ever since I finished exams for the 2nd year of university. I'm coming up to the end of my long 5 month summer break now. Needless to say, a lot had happened during the summer, some good, some bad, but I'm getting back into work mode at long last. I have my timetables for my final year of university, I really can't believe I'll have graduated and will (hopefully) have my bachelor's degree in Psychology. One giant step forward to becoming a speech and language specialist.
Because I noticed a lot of my previous posts were about exams, exam stress, exam frustration and the sort, I thought I'd just let you guys know how I got on. I passed all 8 modules I was examined on - I would've been utterly devastated if I even failed 1 with the amount of effort, blood, sweat and tears I put into studying for those exams. More importantly, I averaged at a 2:1 for the 2nd year which is really good news - it means I stand a chance in applying for MSc SLT.
I'm just in for a very busy October with personal statements to write and references to collect. On the downside, I'm not on very good terms with my personal advisor, I actually had a bust up with her the last time we had a meeting about my performance and attendance. Oops. I'm thinking of not using her as my referee but personal advisor is the most obvious person to use and I guess the univerisites I'm applying to would expect a reference from them. Darn it.
