so I have a lot of stuff to tell you guys
but for right now I just want to let everyone know that my dad and sister are both okay.
We had a couple of scares with my dad, but he's actually doing well. He officially retired at the end of March, so he's taking it easy and recuperating from the last six months worth of hell. He's been out of the hospital since the last week in February and he's slowly starting to get his health back. My sister had what will hopefully be her last surgery a week ago today. She's home from the hospital and doing well so far.
and now for some random Despite all the craziness with my family and work (don't even get me started on work *sigh*) I've actually met a pretty nice guy. We've been hanging out since around Christmas, and dating exclusively for about six weeks. He's without doubt the nicest guy I've ever dated - which of course makes me highly suspicious. *g* but never fear themoononastick, he doesn't hold a candle to you. plus, *shudders* he doesn't watch much television! eek - now do you guys see how lonely I've been for all my fandom peeps?
And just some random pimping now - rileyc has just started a new challenge/prompt community that sounds like a lot of fun. it's multifandom, slash, gen and het, amd all about our favorite boys and girls getting wet. check it out Everything's Better When Wet It just opened up so go and post your request!
I'm slowly trying to catch up with all my lj peeps, so ya'll don't be suprised when you get random comments. *HUGS*
ETA: OMG Ya'll foxxcub has totally become a SGA fan while I've been gone. She's one of my absolute favorite Lost writers. Quick, everyone go pressure her to write SGA!
