Rescue
Did my first urban rescue last night.
A small possum who had been injured and left for 3 days. A bit annoyed that the home owner waited 3 days to call for a rescue, but at least I got him. Unfortunately, it looks like we were too late and he will be put down today. For a possum with a puncture wound in the chest, he was still pretty fiesty (as my hand shows)... but I wasn't as injured as Viv who bled quite well!
I hope my next rescue ends happier.
