Went searching for the John K. Samson solo project (circa 1995) today, which according to the ever-so-knowledgable-and-cute boys at Ditch, was never released commercially, but according to the internet can be bought in mp3 form from G7. realized I had 3 of the 6 songs already, mislabeled as random Weakerthans songs which I stole from the rez network in first year. hell yes.
Instead, bought the first Propaghandi album (why don't I listen to more punk? i'd forgotten how good it could be to blast it and dance around my room. where is my antiflag cd?), Serena Ryder, and some 1930's jazz singers on vinyl for my Dad's christmas gift which I will probably manage to break on the way home. Did you know that you can buy the Black Eyed Peas in record form? Neither did I. But hanging out at Ditch made me want to start restoring my music collection. I blame the internet for being so free and the fact I haven't owned a stereo for 2 years. Damn you, itunes.
