I read somewhere, I cannot remember where, that a bad vid in this sense means something that is done incredibly well but what should only be liked by the proverbial 13 year old girl. This vid is amazing. It works on a content level and then comes the delightful meta-flavored twist. The vidder's blurb says: "Pay no attention to that woman behind the curtain." It's about Atlantis the city, it's about the show Stargate Atlantis and it's about vidding and vidders and fandom and women and women in fandom... at least that's what I think. Interpretation is a matter of interpretation...
