It's time for the end of year vidding meme again. my favorite video this year
This is really difficult. I guess it comes down to Hey Pretty, Matches to Paper Dolls and All the Rowboats.
I had Hey Pretty in my head before I even watched the movie, so that was kinda special and I really like how it turned out. I think I managed to capture what I had in my head and put it in the vid, which is something that doesn't always work, so in this case, I'm very pleased with the outcome.
Matches to Paper Dolls was made by my inner 13 year old for my inner 13 year old and yeah, it really works for me, so that's wonderful.
I think All the Rowboats has a unique mood and it really showcases the prettiness of the source. Plus I finally vidded a Bud Spencer/Terence Hill western.
my least favorite video this year
I think Dilaudid. I still love the concept and the song and I love parts of the vid, but overall I think I could have done better, especially the second half could have used more motion.
most successful video
Hey Pretty! I was totally overwhelmed by the reaction and in combination with the new movie love feeling and my own satisfaction with the vid, I can really call this an overall success.
Vid most under-appreciated by the universe in my opinion
I'd have to say Blue Moon. But then again, the movie isn't that well known and the subject matter is quite dark and disturbing, so I understand. I'm still very happy I vidded it, though, since I've loved the movie for about 15 years and it was so much fun to vid it.

Argh, so difficult! They were all a lot of fun when I made them. The Fast and Furious movies are such a visual treat and so much fun to work with and since I love western movies, making all those vids was great as well. I actually laughed at myself for being so seriously into it when I made Time after Time (MY EMOTIONS!!! KAY HEARTS JAY AND JAY HEARTS KAY 4EVER! OMG!), so I guess, it deserves a special mention.

Hardest Video to make
In a way All the Rowboats was really easy to make with regard to just vidding it. But the difficult thing was that the DVD I had was of horrible quality. So I used a version I found on youtube. It was better than my DVD and I made the vid, but since it was for Vidukon the quality wasn't good enough. So, I searched the internet to find out which of the many DVD versions was of good quality. I then bought that DVD and re-made the entire vid with the new source material, but the colors were still not as pretty as in the youtube version, so I used many color effects until it looked the way I wanted it to look. So much work, but worth it!
most unintentionally telling video
All of them say a lot about me and what I like and what fascinates me. Sometimes it's totally intentional or, to be more accurate, I don't try to hide it.
My plans for 2014
This isn't really a plan, but I hope that I'll be able to vid the Fast and Furious movies again. They've made me so happy and vidding them was so much fun. In light of recent events I can't vid them right now, but I really hope that this will change.
