This was great - the use of flashback was particularly brilliant - focusing on the violence, death and cost involved in what Mattie went through.

It really got to me that Mattie basically gets what she wants, to avenge her father's murder, but she has to pay such a high price for it and I got the feeling that she's fully aware of that right from the start. I'm so glad this worked for you, as well as the flashbacks. Thanks again :)

erh, so i finally watched at least one of your new vids ;) and ugh it's so great. i adore this movie to pieces & you captured so much of its essence! i love it. i especially love that you go back to that image of her father lying dead on the floor again - it's so powerful.
