Dear Festividder,
Thank you so so much for making a vid for me!! First of all, have fun and enjoy the vidding!! I love all these sources and can't wait to see what you will do with them. I like many kinds of vids, they can be sad, funny, silly, serious, over the top, a mixture of things. I like character studies, ensemble vids, shipping and slash vids, meta vids, it's all good. The same goes for music, I tend to prefer fast paced songs, but there are also vids to slow songs out there that I adore. The only dislike I have is that I don't like voice overs. A bit of dialogue at the beginning or end is fine, but constant dialogue during a vid does not work for me. It pulls me out of the flow and I don't know whether to listen to the song or the lines and I end up not being able to get into it.
If you already have an idea in mind by all means go for it! If there's this one vid for this one source that you've always yearned to make, this is your chance! Here are some details about these sources and what I love about them.
Olsen-banden | The Olsen Gang (Movies)
These movies are a big part of my childhood and I still enjoy rewatching them. They are heist movies about small time Danish criminals who are always looking to make millions in order to live happily ever after in Spain. In almost every movie the plan works perfectly, but then something goes wrong and Egon goes to jail. There he comes up with a new plan and the next movie starts with Kjeld and Benny picking him up from prison to do the whole thing over again.
Here's a clip from one of my favorite Olsenbanden movies.
You can watch this video on www.livejournal.com
The actual heist begins at about 7 minutes in. This is in German, but you don't need the language for this scene, trust me. This is one of the most amazing scenes in any movie in my opinion :)
I love all the characters here. I'd love an ensemble vid, maybe a collection of all the heists and/or all the recurring elements used in the movies. But really I'll love everything you'd make here!
The Good The Bad And The Ugly (1966) [SAFETY]
Another one of my favorite spaghetti westerns!! I have so much love for this. I even visited the actual fake cemetery in Spain that was built for this movie 50 years ago and rebuilt by fans 4 years ago.

Go wild with this one. Make a serious vid and focus on the amazing cinematography or the theme of war and how cynical and opportunistic the "heroes" are. Or you could make an over the top and fun slash vid. Blondie, Tuco, Angel Eyes, any combination would be great, OT3 would also be awesome. Or just do your own thing!
Golden Girls
I've been watching this with my mother and brother ever since my father passed. My parents used to watch this back in the 80s and it's been a wonderful distraction and I LOVE this show!!
Any vid you'd come up with would be amazing!
GLOW
I love them all so much and I'd love a vid about each and every one. Seriously, you have an idea for your favorite character and/or pairing? Go for it! I will love it!!
Ginger Snaps
I discovered these last festivids and fell in love with them. Brigitte and Ginger are amazing and I love their relationship and their devotion to one another. Use one movie or all of them, follow your heart! I'll love whatever you'll make.
IT Crowd
I love these characters, they are amazing. Jen might be my favorite, but Roy and Moss are wonderful as well and an ensemble vid would be lovely.
Rawhide
I adore this show and especially Gil Favor and Rowdy Yates, these two are so precious. A light fun slashy vid would be amazing!! Cowboys need love!!
Child's Play/Chucky movies
My love for these movies is no secret, I mean, I bought a lifesize Chucky doll and love it dearly. Once again feel free to use one of these movies or more or all. I like the older somewhat serious ones and I adore the newer slightly cracky ones.
Thank you again so so much for making a vid for me!! Have fun, enjoy making it and know that I cannot wait to watch it!! :D
Treats are welcome!
