vid recs and some other things
I've been meaning to post for a while, but couldn't really bring myself to do much at all.
I was very unhappy with my hair, because my usual hairdresser totally messed it up and it was so frizzy/broken and beyond hope. I finally got myself to try someone new and I tried a Natur Friseur, a nature hairdresser, and it was interesting.
It felt more like a therapy session, she talked to me about stress and illnesses and breaks in one's life and at times it felt a bit too hippie-esque for my taste. (I don't mean to belittle these aspects, I'm just a bit cynical and I don't think my eyebrows are only half visible because there was some trauma at some point in my life. I believe they're this way bacause that's how eyebrows look in my family.)
Other things she said did make a lot of sense and I decided to try this natural shampoo. She also gave me a good haircut, a bit shorter than I would have liked but my hair was a mess, so it's fine. And she could tell only by watching me when I didn't like something. That was definitely a new experience.
Today I finally made some progress with a vid. I had been stuck or more like unable to get started and that was frustrating.
