vid recs + things I watched + other stuff
A couple of weeks ago I finally saw Black Panther and I loved it! So glad I got a chance to see it in the cinema. I also saw Avengers Infinity War last week which I liked. Of all the Marvel movies I like the Avengers movies least, because I prefer to only have a few main characters and more opportunities for character development and for moments to really land as opposed to having a lot of characters crammed into one movie. However, Infinity War was way better than the previous Avengers movies, in my opinion at least.
I also watched season 8 of Shameless and it's still a great show. Every season I get I instantly binge watch. In season 7 I feared they had reached peak Frank in season 6, because nothing would shock me anymore, but in season 8 they took this completely new route with him and I really enjoyed it.
I'm also watching season 2 of Riverdale and Cheryl is my absolute favorite character!
I'm looking very much forward to Arrested Development season 5!! I'm one of those people that really liked season 4. It was different and a bit exhausting at times, but I thought it took the "camera pans out and there are more people in the scene than initially thought"-gag to a whole new level.
In real life news: my car is in the shop and they will do something to it that just might make it ok again, but it's way more likely that it won't be enough and then I have to decide between spending about 1000€ on repairs or getting a new car. A new car will be more expensive but this one is 18 years old and while it's still great for that age, I just don't know if it makes sense to still invest in it. *sigh*
