Let me recap the last 6 days...

Friday morning the primary DS3 at work magically went down, so all trafic was propogated to the redundant DS3. This was around 5am. I went to work, worked till 9:30am on getting everything back the way it should be.

Saturday morning the Primary Windows 2000 domain controller took a crap, taking out the NT kernel files. I attempted to help, but a co-worker made a smart-ass comment to me, so I said fuck it. Needless to say, the server was offline until tuesday (my work week is tue-sat).

Today I go into work and find the Primary mail server (the file serving hub (with the huge RAID5 SCSI array)) has crapped out, taking the BSD kernel with it, and about 200 more files on the root filesystem. FSCK moved most "disappeared" files into the lost+found, until it filled up. FSCK errored out, saying lost+found was full. It was a bitch to get it moved over to a safe location so we could finish the FSCK. Installed a clean IDE hard drive into the machine, had to use it to install a fresh BSD copy, then continue on from there with restoring the original filesystem . Once we got the OS back up, it was a battle getting all the files back, 90% of the email config files had to be recreated. I worked on it for 12 hours.

Friday I leave for Florida, flying down for the weekend. I'm excited, as this is for a job interview. If they'll give me the salary I want (which I am worth, 100% worth I might say) then I'll be moving down end of August. My bro's gf asked me if I cared what they thought about me moving. I said "No, what you think doesn't matter. I'm the one having to live my life, not you." She didn't like that comment much, but I always tell everyone... if you don't want to hear what I have to say, then don't ask.

I am getting sick, it feels like another sinus infection, yegh. I will probably end up at the doctor here in a few hours or something. I've been feeling like crap most of the day, with a headache, eyes hurting, etc. My sinuses "broke" about 10 minutes ago, clearness ran out (eww!). I hope that is a sign that its going to leave quickly, though I really doubt it.
