Another AO! list
This post symbolizes the commencement of a SPECTACULAR weekend here in 'Kato. I'll elaborate with my lists:
..returned to working at Jimmy John's on Friday
..quoted Napoleon Dynamite non-stop at work with fellow co-workers
..went on a scandalous mission around the MSU apartment community with Jen and posted naked Playgirl men up on our friends' doors. We got Jake, John, and Tony's place DAMN good ... and yes there were captions to accompany the pictures
..Jen and I went into Jimmy John's Friday morning at 2am and Nate asked if we'd work (aka place the door handle flyers up around the MSU apartments) and we did, ha.
..had people over Friday night and finished off my pine tree-flavored booze
..blasted annoying *NSYNC at our gathering Friday night
..watched Napoleon Dynamite while intoxicated Friday night
..laid around all day Saturday and watched a couple mooovies with the roomie
..went over to John, Jake, and Tony's Saturday night for their keg. A VERY QUALITY time indeed.
..met a bunch of people at the boys' keg
..received several compliments on my Urban Outfitters hobo stylie purse
..jammed out (more like sang very loudly and badly) to Dashboard Confessional, Something Corporate, Kalgren, Snow Patrol, and Jimmy Eat World with Jake and Freshman Mike in our intoxicated states
..now have a new favorite freshman - Freshman Mike
..got the "how much do you think a polar bear weighs" pick-up line
..went to Jimmy John's yet AGAIN Saturday night and watched Jake and Jen wrestle on the floor at JJ's, funny stuff!
..watched Garden State til 4am
..worked with Nate, Elliot, Travis, and Jen tonight
..ummm so that is a lot so far and there are more, ha ... but I'll stop I guess.
Short list of the BAD shit that went on this weekend
..had my first Friday class since freshman year ... Chem111
..had to DELIVER IN THE DAMN BLIZZARD on Friday (that's 8 continuous damn hours of stressful driving while I'm freezing my ass off in wet clothes, shoes, and socks) I also did not receive any "pity tips" really. The townies can kiss my ass. I wish they were out driving seeing how bad the roads were. They closed down 2 of the high-traffic roads (which are also VERY steep/hilly) so it was purrdy difficult to get around. All this to give people their damn food. I risked my dear life so people could stuff their faces with our sandwiches. Alright, I think I'm done complaining.
..didn't make it to Karen's house for her keg on Friday
..the Gophers were swept my Michigan Tech (WHAT THE FECK?!?!)
..Keri was down in Iowa and I missed her :(
I'm really tired now. Have class at 10am. Work tomorrow til midnight again.
