I would just like to use this post as a way to express my strong dislike on the sporting events Fox Sport Net decides to televise. Tonight, for example, the Gopher hockey team is taking on Colorado College at Mariucci Arena. For those of you not "in the know" in college hockey, these are the #1 and #2 ranked teams in the WCHA. Needless to say, it'll be a hella good game. So what sporting event is Fox Sport Net televising you ask? The freaking Timberwolves game that is ALSO BEING TELEVISED ON ESPN2!!! What gives?! I haven't had my dose-age of Gopher hockey, or any hockey for that matter, in a long long loooooong time and I think I've reached the boiling point. I believe the only thing keeping me sane is knowing that I will be able to watch "my" Mavericks take on the Gophers next weekend at the Xcel Energy Center and the Midwest Wireless Center. It should be great fun watching my neighbors get their asses handed to them by Potulny, Guyer, and company.
