(no subject)
It should be noted that I am simply updating right now because I simply haven't done so in quite some time.
The election obviously occurred last week. It's kinda interesting to hear what all the cocky Bush lovers (aahahaha, that SO does not sound right) and the bitter Kerry supporters hafta say post-election. It was definitely an awesome feeling to know that I fulfilled my civic duty by voting ... I just feel so mature and grown up!
Well anyways, things have been going pretty gouda over the past couple weeks. I really really REALLY cannot wait til Thanksgiving break. I've been able to go home about twice now, but have only been able to stay for a day ... hence not much time spent with the fam. I definitely miss them ... a lot. It'll be nice to get back with my girls as well (Margaritas anyone?) ... Miss you girls!
I need to declare a new major VERY soon. There is something about deciding the rest of your future that is quite scary. Sometimes I wish I could just live this lifestyle forever. Yeah, I know it'll get old after a while, but I could sure use a "pause" button in the time area right now. Life is just happening SO quickly right now. Time flies when yer having fun I guess, eh?
In other news, I bought the first season of the OC on DVD. VERY exciting. I heart that show. Sarah and I went up to St. John's this past weekend to see the Kalgren show. I also heart their music. Sarah was pretty jealous at the show since the guys waved at me when they were on stage .... mwah ha ha ha. I = felt special. Me and Tony's attempt to hit up their show on Wednesday at the Haze definitely FAILED. Damn bouncers ... why can't he let the under-aged guitar tech and merch girl (*cough cough*) in for the show? Grrrr. I also got pretty lazy in the costume-finding department for Halloween and had a camoflauge theme ... and wore Jen's BRIGHT ORANGE hunting jacket lol, everyone thought I was a hunter or something. That Saturday was such a quality night. You're always guaranteed a good time in Kato if yer with Jake, John, and JT. Fun shit. I had a largo examen Tuesday morning. Matt at work gave me some adderall and it made me FECKING FOCUSED BEYOND BELIEF! It was nuts. I don't want to advocate the use of pills for such reasons, but all I know is that it worked for me. Not gonna lie, but I think I got a pretty darn good grade on that test. Woot woot for me.
Jimmy John's is still the rockstar place of employment for me. I banked 55 bucks in tips there tonight. I = stoked. We're planning on having a raging JJ employee drunkfest this Wednesday night ... it should be QUALITY since I work with so many QUALITY people.
Looks like I should go to beddy. Me = tired/stressed/cold/exhausted. Bye.
