Kalgren shows make me happy
Yup. So it's been a while since I've updated. I realize how I've been slacking in the LJ department since school started ... oh wait, I've been slacking in every damn department since school has started. I have 2 exams today (one down, one to go) and then I'll be heading off to the Noner for Sarah's 21st birthday! It's gonna be a pimpshit of a time. Sarah, BK, Shal, and I (along with the Winona gals) are gonna live it up like rockstars. It'll be nice to have a "breath of fresh air" with my girls ... Lord knows I miss them dearly! <3
Last night, I had the privilege of getting into the Haze to watch Kalgren do their rockstar thing. Their shows = THE pimpshit. I can't wait for them to get some of their new songs on disc. Gaahhhhh! Sometimes I get really excited about stuff, hehe. It was cool to get to know some of the guys better. Now I know what Tony is always raving about, ha. Well, I guess hanging out with a band .period. would be cool as hell, especially if one of them is yer BFF. My boy got to play in on one of the songs again (ooops, is that the correct terminology?) .. it was uber awesome. I was like "Yeah, that's right .. that's mah maaaaaayn!" Haha, okay so I didn't say that out loud since I would've received several odd glances, but I was THINKING it! Unfortunately, I had to leave once they finished up the show around 1:30am-ish. Ha, that's what I get for taking an 8am class AND having a damn exam in it. Bah. I heart how I just feel energized and in a good mood after going to a show. Alright, I'm done talking now about that. Wait, no I'm not .. random side note: some "thuggin" african-american dude bought one of Kalgren's CDs after the show. How awesome is that?!
In other news, Friday will be TWO MONTHS for Tony and I ... that's crazy. I still can't believe I'm with him, ha. It still shocks me when I think about it all. One minute we're co-workers (and crushing on him hardcore), and the next we're boyf/girlf. That shit just DOES NOT happen to me, but I'm glad it did this time :o) Wooohooo!
I need to go and pull some major BS out of my ass for my accounting exam ... wish me luck yo!
