Well, I am finally home now from my little getaway trip with the SO. He's probably back in New York now, and I am better rested (took a little 4 hour nap when I got home).
It was a great little vacation: we stayed at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO, did some hiking in neighboring Rocky Mountain National Park, the SO did some fishing in Estes

Who is Pat, and why do people run for him? Here our biggest thing to run for (I should say person, really) is Terry Fox, of course. He is kind of the pioneer of running for the cure type things! There are even schools named after him across the country. I'm assuming you know who Terry Fox was...
And I'm glad that the ghosties were not like the ones in the movie! YIKES!

Did the ghosties scare you guys at all? What kinds of experiences did you have there??
Terry Fox had cancer, and lost his leg. He was 18, with bone cancer, and his right leg was amputated 6" above the knee. 32 years ago he decided to run across Canada with one leg as a prosthesis. He died during that run. That is the extremely abridged version of who he was. <3 There is a "Terry Fox Foundation", schools all over as I mentioned, the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award, and many statues of him.
