I went out to the park for my run this morning. I had hoped to make it a long one, but I had to stop, and decided to walk for a portion of it. It turned out to be really nice. It gave me an opportunity to look at the Laramie River and all the remaining snow left.
I really enjoy times like that where I can just be by myself and take nature in. I would love to get up to the Med Bows and hike one of the trails, but I think the highway's still shut down up there--too much snow. They usually shut it down for the winter and it doesn't open again until after Memorial Day.
Anyway, my run/walk was nice; I only ran into one other runner, woman walking her dog, and an elderly couple walking. I guess I'll try again tomorrow and see how long I can go. I wish I could increase the days I run, but it gets dark quickly when I come home now, and I usually don't feel like running then.
I probably should get those ice trackers for my running shoes. These things you slip over your shoes that are supposed to keep you from slipping on the ice. That would be helpful for running in the neighborhood.
Other than that, today I think I'll vacuum the carpet, clean the bathrooms, and head out to Anong's for some good Thai chow. :-)
