Facebook RANT!
WHY, OH WHY, are there STUPID people on Facebook?????
This is in reference to a friend of my niece, who posted something on her comment about men who say "Well, I workl" to their women who stay at home to raise their kids. Well, my niece said, "We work just as hard, if not harder!!" or something to that effect. Anyway, this chick comes on board and types in the most irritating, lazy way--you know, the kind that cannot even complete a sentence without putting a 'b cuz', for because, 'cum' for come, and stuff like that. That pisses me off to no end. I mean, this girl can barely spell, but that's OKAY, she has her babeez that are going to grow up and become soooo SUCCESSFUL, and that they'll make Mama proud!
I basically told her that I found her writing quite disturbing, to which she replied a few minutes later with a barely coherent, lengthy rant, which, to be honest, didn't really make any sense at all, especially at the end.
I couldn't resist with replying; yes I was snarky, yes I was being caustic. But I don't care. I basically wished her luck for wanting to live vicariously through her children (because through her failure at her own life, she has nothing to look forward to except to 'live through' her children; their apparent (cough) success will somehow VALIDATE her as a human being!). I didn't write what's in the parentheses, but that's what I was thinking.
Like we REALLY know how our children are going to turn out. Please. I love it when parents say how great their children will turn out; truth is, it's a CRAP SHOOT. The only thing a parent can do for their children is to raise them the best they can, and when they leave the home, HOPE for the best, because you just DON'T KNOW.
Let me get to bed, I've had enough shit for today.
