Well, it's done. I'm finally considered a home owner. Or rather, a home buyer. We finally closed on the house today, and I had to sign for the SO since he's already enroute to Ft. Drum. He stopped in PA for a pit stop and visit with his parents.
I have the whole house to myself and the kitties. A house full of boxes to unpack. Such fun!
Well, at least the weekend's here. I finally finished the report on Dry Park Lot 6, and hopefully that will be the last revision on it. Then maybe they can get started on getting rid of those dead trees around the cabin. Basically, it was a project that proposed to remove some dead trees (from the bark beetle infestation) around a recreational residence that is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places, and so because of that, I had to go over there and survey the area for cultural stuff before they go and cut the trees. Found nothing, took a bunch of pictures, wrote up the report, and now just waiting for the go-ahead to send this baby off to the SHPO. Now, all that's left is the report on HWY 230, which is almost finished. Than I can go out again in the woods! Sweet!
