Why Spawn should not see the Prawn
This is basically just a rant today.
I went to go see 'District 9' yesterday. While I rooted for the aliens (the 'prawns' as they are called) to kill off the humans in the movie, I couldn't help but notice this noise-producing little human behind me. A KID was seated behind me making little noises of some sort everytime there was a gross scene in the movie. This kid also kicked the back of my seat a few times.
I mean, WTF??? WHAT THE HELL IS A KID DOING BY HIMSELF IN A THEATER SHOWING AN R-RATED MOVIE???
My friend and I were annoyed by this kid and she even got up to go to the manager to complain about it. The manager told her he was dropped off by his father. And the manager was okay with this??? What a douche!
The kid left as soon as the movie was over, but I was pissed. More and more parents are eschewing their responsibilities these days in raising their kids. Dropping kids off at an R-rated movie is NOT proper parental supervision!
